our vendor partners, to deliver proven technology solutions which will
maximize the return on our clients' technology investment. Our team members
not only have the formal training and vendor certifications appropriate for
their role, they also have the experience to deliver on your complex solution.

 Stephen D. Hand
President & CTO

Stephen is the President and CTO of KTL. His primary responsibilities within KTL
are leading the overall technical direction of the company and serving as the
lead solution architect for most of KTL's large client projects. He has worked
in the IT industry for over 21 years holding numerous technical and management
related positions. Stephen has served as an engineer or project manager on large
scale network infrastructure deployments as well as critical Line of Business
application rollouts. As either an employee or consultant, he has worked throughout
the US and in the Middle East with companies such as Berkshire Hathaway, Cam
Commerce Solutions, Adidas America and FAME. Stephen is actively involved in the
technology community – serving on various boards for TechMaine, MTI and PopTech.
He is a graduate of The University of Maine with a BS in Business Marketing and
minor in Computer Science.
 Patrick S. Jones
Chief Operating Officer

Patrick is the company's COO. His responsibilities include
administration and sales management. Prior to joining Know
Technology, Patrick was a Senior Vice President at Brown Brothers
Harriman & Co., a private bank based in New York, NY. His
responsibilities there included managing the Emerging Growth
Partners Division, a group that provides commercial lending,
capital raising and merger and acquisition services to emerging
companies, usually with a technology focus.
 Tim Barthelman
Director of Data Center Services

Tim is a partner in KTL. A graduate of Roger Williams University, where
he received a BS degree in Construction Science, he has worked
extensively in the construction industry. After completing a leadership
role with Boston's now famous "Big Dig", Tim started a web
hosting and consulting company which has evolved into KTL's data
center services business. He currently manages KTL's Data Center and
Network Services with a focus on the development of data center operational policies.
 Taylor Pohlman
Vice President, Managed Services

Taylor Pohlman joins Know Technology as Vice President, Managed Services with responsibility
for the definition and management of KTL’s Managed Services offerings. Taylor recently
returned to Maine after serving as VP, Global Subscription and Support at Autodesk,
Inc. the leading producer of design software, where he managed the World-wide Subscription
business, nearly doubling it to $700M during his time there. Taylor's career spans over
25 years of high-level management experience in the computer industry, spanning all
aspects of the personal computer and workstation hardware and software business
utilizing both direct and indirect channels. In addition to Autodesk, Mr. Pohlman
has held senior positions for leading companies such as Apple Computer and Sybase,
and has extensive entrepreneurial experience as founder and president of several
software companies, including venture-funded Forethought, Inc. Mr. Pohlman's line
management experience includes worldwide organizations with manufacturing, sales,
marketing, development, and distribution and support functions, including enterprise
and developer support. Taylor was a founding member and twelve-year principal in
the consulting firm of Rohner & Associates, working with a wide variety of
high technology clients on the channel worthiness and readiness of their services
and product offerings. As an advisor and board member to technology companies,
Mr. Pohlman has also helped dozens of companies achieve their plans and their potential.
 Mike White
Director of Vendor Management

Before joining KTL, Michael spent nine years and held various positions within the
Sales, Enterprise Solutions and Product Management teams at PC Connection, a
Fortune 1000 rapid response provider of IT solutions. Michael manages relationships
with our critical vendor partners like Microsoft, Cisco, HP, APC and others. Michael
also heads up our Procurement Services Division. He is a graduate of Greensboro
College with a BS in Sociology.
 Stewart Wright
Solution Architect

Stewart joined KTL in October of 2007 and is actively involved in all
aspects of the network services team. His responsibilities span the
roles of Program Management, Architecture and Development. Before
joining KTL, Stewart was an Associate at Goldman Sachs in New York,
N.Y. for over 6 years. While at Goldman Sachs, he oversaw a global
team responsible for engineering and managing the desktop platform.
Amongst other key initiatives, Stewart led a team that deployed a
remote office home solution to the Goldman Sachs Management Committee,
and planned the budget and timelines for the Investment Banking
Division's move to a thin office platform. He is a graduate of Hamilton
College where he received a BA in Computer Science.
 Kamron Bonta
Business Development

Kamron joined KTL in December of 2008. Prior to working with Know, Kamron managed development for several
lead Chicago-area VARs and most recently worked as a sales specialist
for IBM. Kamron has worked with clients across numerous industries
to develop innovative technology strategies that solve their business
needs. At Know Technology, Kamron's focus will be on identifying
new client relationships and working closely with our vendors to
provide customers with progressive and cost effective offerings.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Kamron is originally from
Camden, Maine and attended CRHS before moving to the Midwest
to attend a magnet school. She looks forward to becoming actively
involved in the community again.
 Derek Anderson
Director, Partner Management

Prior to joining Know Technology, Derek spent 12 years in the
publishing industry. In his roles he has had responsibility
for client support, staff development, systems integration,
strategic planning and new product launches. In the publishing
industry Derek created a reputation as an innovator developing
unique ways to leverage new media technologies into the legacy
business of newspaper publishing. In addition to his publishing
experiences he has had extensive involvement with the midcoast
business community architecting more than 150 local web sites.
At Know Technology Derek is focused on managing partner relationships
with existing clients and identifying and developing new relationships
for the company. Derek lives in Camden with his wife Tia, their
two children Cole and Kyra and the family's black lab
Freyja. Derek coaches in the local youth hockey league and
little league baseball. He is a past board member of the Penobscot Bay Regional
Chamber of Commerce, Rockland Rotary, Camden Downtown Business
Association, Penobscot Bay YMCA and New England Press Association.
He currently serves on the board of United Mid-Coast Charities.
 Deanna Hilt
Office Manager

Deanna has more than 15 years experience in all aspects of bookkeeping
and accounting working for companies with less than 10 employees
to companies with greater than 170 employees. This experience
includes Accounts Payable and Receivable, Payroll, Financial
Reporting and Budgeting, as well as many other related tasks.
She has two teenage children who are actively involved in school
sports. Deanna is a huge Red Sox fan and also enjoys NASCAR.
Her favorite summertime activity is camping.
 Susan McIntyre
Service Desk Manager

Susan joined KTL in January 2009 as Service Desk Manager. Susan brings with her
over five years experience working for Camden National Corporation at the service
desk as well as extensive PC support skills working in various other positions.
Susan is a Maine native, a graduate of Camden-Rockport High School, and earned
a degree at Thomas College in Waterville. Susan enjoys spending time at her
remote camp in northern Maine on the weekends where she fishes in the summer
and snowmobiles in the winter. Susan lives in Hope with her husband Scott and
very special dog Phoebe.
 Jonathan Ross
Project Manager

Prior to joining KTL, Jonathan worked with several companies in technology fields
in both employee and consultative roles, helping them shape and implement sensible
IT infrastructure and policies with an eye toward individual business goals. He
holds several industry certifications with a focus on networking and Unix/Linux
administration, and studied computer science at Central Maine Community College. When
not tackling network issues, he enjoys collecting and playing guitars, watching
movies and playing video games, spending time with his girlfriend and dog, and
enjoying the occasional fine cigar.
 Patrick Rowling
Technical Account Manager

Patrick joined the Know Technology team in March of 2009, bringing service
experience in both Windows and Mac environments. Previously, he worked for
five years as the DSL Coordinator and Level II support technician for a local,
independent ISP. In addition to his customer service skills, he held a Wireless
Field Service Engineer certificate and performed maintenance and installation of
point to multi-point wireless network equipment. He is also a graphic artist
and web designer. A professional musician for over 25 years, Patrick is a member
of several bands; playing everything from Jazz standards to R&B and Soul,
and is a DJ with a weekly 2-hour show on the local community radio station. A
mid-coast native, he recently returned to the area and enjoys yoga, hiking,
cycling and other outdoor activities with his girlfriend.
 Miguel Ortiz
Technical Account Manager

Miguel has lived in Maine for the past 10 years. Prior to joining Know Technology,
Miguel worked for a Technology support company providing small businesses
with technical support solutions. He also worked for a Maine based bank,
managing their network and telecommunications infrastructure. Miguel holds
a BS in computer science and has over 15 years of experience in IT with a
primary focus on network infrastructure as well as Windows network
maintenance and support. When not working, he enjoys spending time with
friends and family.
 Ed Geis
Web Developer

Ed's creative design skills are complemented by his technical ability to build dynamic web applications. After earning a Ph.D. in English in 1999, Ed launched a communications business providing web development, graphic design, and writing/editing services. Underlying this broad array of skills lies Ed's ability to listen and understand clients' needs, then respond with a strategic solution that works to accomplish their goals. When he's not in the office Ed spends his time enjoying the outdoors with his family and serving in the Camden Fire Department.
 Scott Crockett
Technical Account Manager

Scott came to KTL in the year 2000, filling many different positions as the company has
grown over the years. He's a Technical Account Manager, a Meru Networks Certified
Engineer, and our Infrastructure Specialist. He takes pride in punching down
patch panels, pulling and terminating Ethernet cable, and grounding network gear,
when he's not deploying superior wireless networks. He's been assisting people for
almost 25 years, between helping clients make intelligent purchasing decisions at
a local audio shop, as Managing Partner at a local Convenience Store, and nine
years of service here at KTL. After graduating from Camden Rockport High
School, he studied communications and psychology at University of Maine. Scott
was born and raised here in Camden, and lives in Lincolnville with his wife Erin.
He is a member of the Lincolnville Planning Board, and Land Use Committee.
He's an avid Marksman, hunter, and fisherman known to embark on fishing adventures
fifty miles off our coast in search of very fresh Haddock.
