not only have the formal training and vendor certifications appropriate for

 Stephen D. Hand
President & CTO

Stephen is the President and CTO of KTL. His primary responsibilities within KTL
are leading the overall technical direction of the company and serving as the
lead solution architect for most of KTL's large client projects. He has worked
in the IT industry for over 21 years holding numerous technical and management
related positions. Stephen has served as an engineer or project manager on large
scale network infrastructure deployments as well as critical Line of Business
application rollouts. As either an employee or consultant, he has worked throughout
the US and in the Middle East with companies such as Berkshire Hathaway, Cam
Commerce Solutions, Adidas America and FAME. Stephen is actively involved in the
technology community – serving on various boards for TechMaine, MTI and PopTech.
He is a graduate of The University of Maine with a BS in Business Marketing and
minor in Computer Science.
 Patrick S. Jones
Chief Operating Officer

Patrick is the company's COO. His responsibilities include
administration and sales management. Prior to joining Know
Technology, Patrick was a Senior Vice President at Brown Brothers
Harriman & Co., a private bank based in New York, NY. His
responsibilities there included managing the Emerging Growth
Partners Division, a group that provides commercial lending,
capital raising and merger and acquisition services to emerging
companies, usually with a technology focus.
 Tim Barthelman
Director of Data Center Services

Tim is a partner in KTL. A graduate of Roger Williams University, where
he received a BS degree in Construction Science, he has worked
extensively in the construction industry. After completing a leadership
role with Boston's now famous "Big Dig", Tim started a web
hosting and consulting company which has evolved into KTL's data
center services business. He currently manages KTL's Data Center and
Network Services with a focus on the development of data center operational policies.
 Mike White
Director of Vendor Management

Before joining KTL, Michael spent nine years and held various positions within the
Sales, Enterprise Solutions and Product Management teams at PC Connection, a
Fortune 1000 rapid response provider of IT solutions. Michael manages relationships
with our critical vendor partners like Microsoft, Cisco, HP, APC and others. Michael
also heads up our Procurement Services Division. He is a graduate of Greensboro
College with a BS in Sociology.
 Stewart Wright
Solution Architect

Stewart joined KTL in October of 2007 and is actively involved in all
aspects of the network services team. His responsibilities span the
roles of Program Management, Architecture and Development. Before
joining KTL, Stewart was an Associate at Goldman Sachs in New York,
N.Y. for over 6 years. While at Goldman Sachs, he oversaw a global
team responsible for engineering and managing the desktop platform.
Amongst other key initiatives, Stewart led a team that deployed a
remote office home solution to the Goldman Sachs Management Committee,
and planned the budget and timelines for the Investment Banking
Division's move to a thin office platform. He is a graduate of Hamilton
College where he received a BA in Computer Science.
 Charles Farrell
Director of Business Development

Chuck began his career as an IBM systems engineer. Much of
his early career was spent as the sales executive building
international sales for companies such as Wang Laboratories,
Concord Communications (now part of CA) and BGS Systems (now
part of BMC). Chuck was the board-appointed corporate officer
responsible for marketing and business development at Concurrent
Computer Corp. He was the founding officer of the North American
subsidiary of UK-based X-Cel Communications, a network management
company; he grew the operation to almost $10 million and then
ran it up to more than $100 million in annual sales in less
than two years after the company was acquired by Nortel. Prior
to joining Know Technology, Chuck focused his energies on information
security services and regulatory compliance assessment software.
 Derek Anderson
Director, Partner Management

Prior to joining Know Technology, Derek spent 12 years in the
publishing industry. In his roles he has had responsibility
for client support, staff development, systems integration,
strategic planning and new product launches. In the publishing
industry Derek created a reputation as an innovator developing
unique ways to leverage new media technologies into the legacy
business of newspaper publishing. In addition to his publishing
experiences he has had extensive involvement with the midcoast
business community architecting more than 150 local web sites.
At Know Technology Derek is focused on managing partner relationships
with existing clients and identifying and developing new relationships
for the company. Derek lives in Camden with his wife Tia, their
two children Cole and Kyra and the family's black lab
Freyja. Derek coaches in the local youth hockey league and
little league baseball. He is a past board member of the Penobscot Bay Regional
Chamber of Commerce, Rockland Rotary, Camden Downtown Business
Association, Penobscot Bay YMCA and New England Press Association.
He currently serves on the board of United Mid-Coast Charities.
 Deanna Miller
Office Manager

Deanna has more the 15 years experience in all aspects of bookkeeping
and accounting working for companies with less than 10 employees
to companies with greater than 170 employees. This experience
includes Accounts Payable and Receivable, Payroll, Financial
Reporting and Budgeting, as well as many other related tasks.
She has two teenage children who are actively involved in school
sports. Deanna is a huge Red Sox fan and also enjoys NASCAR.
Her favorite summertime activity is camping.
 Kevin Cloutier
Senior Technical Account Manager

Kevin joined Know Technology in April 2006 as a Senior Network Technician. For
19 years Kevin has designed, installed, secured and maintained networks for
multiple banks and corporations in New England. Kevin serves as a lead technical
account manager with many of our local clients and focuses on Active Directory,
Exchange and Citrix solutions with our larger customers. He has extensive
experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange, Cisco switching and
Citrix. He is a graduate of Husson College with a BS in Business Administration.
 Rob Whidden
Technical Account Manager

Rob brings with him 8 years of corporate IT experience including
network administration, database analysis and engineering as
well as extensive experience in HP-UX with a focus on data
process automation. His IT career began as a Certified Novell
Administrator and he is currently studying to earn the title
of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. At Know Technology,
Rob will be responsible for the design, build and maintenance
of computer networks for new and existing customers as well
as supporting the data center at Know Technology. A Maine native,
Rob enjoys spending time with his family and friends engaging
in outdoor activities. His favorite hobbies
include any board sport (surfing, skate, wake and snow), playing
hockey and dirt biking.
 Jessica Skillings
Designer

Jessica joined Know Technology in August of 2004. Her responsibilities
include designing, building, and maintaining websites and other
applications for Know clients, as well as designing marketing
collateral and other printed materials. She brings eight years
of design experience and an eye for detail to her new position
at Know Technology. A Maine native, she returned to her home
state three years ago after living in Massachusetts for 10
years. She is a graduate
of Clark University with a BA in Geography.
 Danielle Ramirez
Technical Account Manager

Danielle was the Manager of Information Systems at Hamilton
Realty, one of Boston's largest commercial and residential
property management companies. She then went to worked for
Lotus Development and IBM Global Services for twelve years,
as a Field Support Engineer. She attended the University of
Massachusetts. She moved to Maine four years ago, and has worked
for several Portland companies as a Systems Administrator and
Senior Network Engineer.
 Scott Crockett
Client Services Manager

Scott has worked for 17 years in retail, with a focus in Audio/Video
Technology. He most recently helped many clients make intelligent
and informed decisions at a custom A/V shop in Camden, ME.
He was also the managing partner of a local convenience store
for seven years. Scott is a graduate of Camden Rockport High
School, and studied communications and psychology at University
of Maine at Augusta.
Born in Camden, he is another life long resident of Mid Coast
Maine. He recently designed and managed the construction of
his new Lincolnville home. He is an avid outdoorsman throughout
the year, and can often be found in one of his ice fishing
shacks enjoying a fine cigar throughout the winter months.
 Dave Gilles
Systems Administrator

Dave Joined Know Technology in July of 2007 as a Systems Administrator
working at the Data Center in our Portland office. Before joining
the KNOW team, Dave served in the Air Force working with information
systems. While in the service his responsibilities ranged from
small computer hardware and software services to administering
both UNIX and Windows based servers. Some of his experience
includes Network Area Storage, Exchange Administration, Blackberry
Enterprise Server, Backup Solutions, Patching, Security and
more. Dave recently returned to his home state of Maine where
he is attending school at the University of Southern Maine
and still serves in the reserves. Dave's hobbies include traveling,
exercising, and spending time with his friends and family.
