KnowManager Managed Services is Growing Rapidly
The new KnowManager Managed Services offerings have attracted a lot of attention, particularly for new Know Technology clients, according to Patrick Jones, COO of Know Technology. “Our KnowManager business is growing at nearly a 50% annual run rate”, he said. “Increasingly our clients are opting to put the new infrastructure we’ve installed under the KnowManager program, and often adding On-site or Remote Support to the Monitoring and Management we’re traditionally done.”
Taylor Pohlman, VP of Managed Services, concurred, and offers some further details. “Our new Managed Services offering is having broad appeal”, says Pohlman. “In the last few months alone we’ve signed four new accounts, including a manufacturing company, a non-profit foundation, a law firm and an consulting firm.” Mr. Pohlman reports that some of the new clients have some IT resources, with KTL supplementing those people. Other firms use KTL as their IT department, and rely on us to install, configure, service and support the systems, networks and end users. In some cases, KTL hosts those servers and networks within its secure Data Center located in the Portland office.
“The new KnowManager Managed Services offering has increased the flexibility that we provide to clients”, says Pohlman. “It’s designed to match what clients want to do for themselves with the advanced services and monitoring technology we have developed.” KnowManager’s growth demonstrates that it’s the right answer for our clients. “Our job is to focus on their IT infrastructure and ways to make it work better at a reasonable cost”, said Pohlman. “that’s another example of being an IT Partner.”
